Lone Star Legal Aid Honors Smith County Attorney Peter G. Milne for Upholding Justice

INDIVIDUAL ATTORNEY RECEIVES ACCOLADES FOR MOST PRO BONO CASES LITIGATED

In commemoration of National Pro Bono Week (October 25th – 29th), Lone Star Legal Aid honors local attorney Pete Milne for Most Pro Bono Cases Litigated.

Lone Star Legal Aid Pro Bono Awards recognize attorneys, law firms and community partners who donate their time and legal expertise to ensure that all East Texas residents have equal access to the courts. Mr. Milne will be formally recognized on October 28, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Smith County Court by The Honorable Nathaniel Moran, Smith County Judge, with an Award Certificate from Lone Star Legal and the Honorable J. Brett Busby, Justice, Supreme Court of Texas. A reception will follow the ceremony sponsored by Lone Star Legal Aid and the Smith County Bar Foundation.

Peter Milne is honored for litigating the most pro bono cases during this pandemic year. Pete never hesitates to extend his zealous advocacy skills and commitment to solving legal problems for those less fortunate who would have gone unrepresented, but for his help.
