INDIVIDUAL ATTORNEY RECEIVES ACCOLADES FOR MOST CLIENTS ASSISTED AWARD
In commemoration of National Pro Bono Week (October 25th – 29th), Lone Star Legal Aid honors local attorney Cheryl Ann Wulf with the Most Clients Assisted Award.
Lone Star Legal Aid Pro Bono Awards recognize attorneys, law firms and community partners who donate their time and legal expertise to ensure that all East Texas residents have equal access to the courts. Ms. Wulf will be formally recognized on October 28, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Smith County Court by The Honorable Nathaniel Moran, Smith County Judge, with an Award Certificate from Lone Star Legal and the Honorable J. Ms. Wulf’s exemplary pro bono participation included assisting eight clients since the start of the pandemic, offering extended representation in four divorce cases, and advising four clients in other family-related matters.
ABOUT CHERYL WULF
Ms. Wulf is a solo practitioner trial attorney in Tyler, Texas, who opened her firm in 2011.
Ms. Wulf primarily handles cases involving family law, civil litigation, and criminal defense. Prior to opening her own practice, she practiced as an insurance defense attorney in Houston, Texas.
Ms. Wulf chose to become a trial attorney because it allows her to “help people who are going through what is sometimes the most difficult situation in their life,” while also allowing her to give back to the community by providing pro bono services to those in need. She also provides discounted services for our first responders and veterans.
Ms. Wulf is married to Curtis Wulf and they have three children. In addition to Ms. Wulf’s work with Lone Star Legal Aid, she stays active in the community by contributing her time as a member of the South Tyler Rotary, the Smith County Behavioral Health Leadership Team, and the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary of Tyler. She is also Vice President of Programs for the Chapel Hill Education Foundation and is a current Board member of the Smith County Bar Association.
Lone Star Legal Aid salutes Cheryl Wulf and her commitment to assisting the most pro bono clients.
