National Night Out in Houston, TX Has Been Postponed until 2021

National Night Out was rescheduled in Texas to today, October 6, 2020, however, with COVID-19 still persisting and making social activities unsafe, the Houston Police Department (HPD) has officially postponed NNO city-wide and declared it will resume in 2021.

Here is a statement from the Houston Police Department.

“The Houston Police Department has decided to postpone our celebration of National Night Out. It was a difficult decision, but one that is necessary due to the health and safety risks posed by COVID-19. The HPD command staff listened to citizens’ recommendations and concerns. See you in 2021.”
