August 17, 2020 is National Nonprofit Day and is a special day for nonprofits all over the world to celebrate their charitable endeavors to help others in their communities. This year is a different from all the rest because we are celebrating and recognizing each other virtually.
These changing times during the pandemic haven’t interfered with Lone Star Legal Aid’s efforts to continue protecting and advancing the civil legal rights of the millions of Texans living in poverty. We are all working together to make sure we provide free advocacy, legal representation, and community education that ensures equal access to justice.
National Nonprofit Day is a chance for you to acknowledge the nonprofit organizations that have an effect on your life and others. Don’t forget to voice your cause by educating your friends and family and using the hashtag #NationalNonprofitDay on social media. Thank your volunteers and staff for their support and shout out those are regularly active in advocating on your behalf.
