Each year, the City of Houston Public Works issues a Water Quality Report on regulated contaminants found in the City’s drinking water supply. A requirement of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), the City’s annual Water Quality report is a way for Houstonians to know more about the safety and quality of their drinking water. Read the recently issued 2018 report here.
What should you do if you are concerned about the taste, odor, or color of your drinking water? For drinking water supplied by the City of Houston, residents should contact 311 or email waterquality@houstontx.gov.
