Bryan/College Station, Texas – In cooperation with Post # 159 American Legion, Lone Star Legal Aid will be participating in a resource fair for all veterans and their families on Saturday, March 3, 2018, from 9 am until 12 pm. The event will be located at Post #159 American Legion, located at 101 Waco St. in Bryan, Texas.
Texas Workforce Solutions and Texas Veterans Commission will be taking applications and conducting interviews for veterans seeking employment.
Texas Veterans Commission and Central Texas Veterans Health Care System will have counselors and patient advocates present to provide resource and referral information about claims. Post #159 Service Officer Jeffery Landskroner will be available for consultations and the Vet Clinic Mobile Health Van will be onsite offering complimentary health screenings.
Over 10 attorneys from Lone Star Legal Aid and the Houston Bar Association will be available for free legal consultations in various areas of the law.
Veterans interested in attending should register here. Registration tickets are not transferable, but walk-ins will be accommodated. If you’ve pre-registered, there is no need to print your ticket – your name will be on a list at check-in.
All services are FREE and open to any veteran; you do not have to be a member of American Legion to participate. Verification of veteran status may be required for some specific services but is not required for entry into the event. Parking is free and some handicap spaces are available.
