Amir Befroui and Elizabeth Lockett, staff attorneys in LSLA’s Foreclosure Prevention Unit, were recently interviewed regarding the dangers of reverse mortgage lending as well as their experiences representing clients at risk of losing their homes. Although required to take a financial counseling course, clients often find themselves in these situations because they do not understand the requirements of the loan.
