Lone Star Legal Aid Honors Brazos County’s Don & Ellie Knauss Veteran Resource & Support Center, Division of Student Affairs, Texas A&M University as a Community Partner


In commemoration of National Pro Bono Week (October 25th – 29th), Lone Star Legal Aid honors local Veteran’s organization Don & Ellie Knauss Veteran Resource & Support Center, Division of Student Affairs, Texas A&M University as Community Partner.

The Don & Ellie Knauss Veteran Resource & Support Center, Division of Student Affairs, Texas A&M University, will be formally recognized on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Brazos County Courthouse, in a recognition event hosted by the Honorable Kyle Hawthorne, 85th District Court, with Award Certificates from Lone Star Legal and the Honorable J. Brett Busby, Justice, Supreme Court of Texas. A reception will follow the ceremony sponsored by Lone Star Legal Aid and the Brazos County Bar Association.

The Don & Ellie Knauss Veteran Resource & Support Center (VRSC) identifies, develops, and provides uniquely tailored services that enhance academic success and holistic development of Veterans & Military-Affiliated students (Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, Military Families, and Survivors). The VRSC facilitates the Veteran & Military-Affiliated transitions by integrating the Aggie Core Values with the foundational VRSC philosophy of Serve Well Those Who Have Served.
