TODAY is the deadline for Winter Storm Uri FEMA Assistance

It has been three months since Winter Storm Uri hit in February and left Texans scrambling for home and vehicle repairs. Although many Texans may have taken care of repairs on their own by now, they may be reimbursed for out of pocket expenses by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

What can FEMA help me with?

FEMA provides assistance with housing, rent, replacing damaged or destroyed belongings, and other expenses caused by a disaster.

Can I get FEMA assistance even though I have insurance?

Yes. FEMA can help with issues not covered by your insurance.

How do I apply?

Visit the Disaster Assistance website to apply online or call 1-800-621-3362 or 1-800-462-7585..
