Connecting Texas Kids to Coverage: On-site Enrollment Clinics Announcement


Lone Star Legal Aid is beginning to have more community partners join our Connecting Texas Kids to Coverage Unit for on-site enrollment clinics. Please see the dates and times below.

  • BakerRipley Harback: Medicaid/CHIP Enrollment Clinic  
  • Frequency: Monthly Event – 3rd Wednesday of the Month 
  • Address: 6225 Northdale Street Houston, TX 77087 
  • Time: 9 AM – 1 PM 
  • Highland Heights Elementary School: Medicaid/CHIP Enrollment Clinic 
  • Frequency: Monthly Event – 2nd Monday of the Month 
  • Address: 865 Paul Quinn St, Houston, TX 77091 
  • Time: 1 PM – 4 PM 
  • Spring Branch Family Development Center: Medicaid/CHIP Enrollment Clinic 
  • Frequency: Weekly Event – Thursday 
  • Address: 8575 Pitner Rd, Houston, TX 77080 
  • Time: 9 AM – 3 PM 
  • BakerRipley Gulfton: Medicaid/CHIP Enrollment Clinic 
  • Frequency: Twice a Month – 1st and 4th Monday of the Month 
  • Address: 6500 Rookin Street Houston, TX 77074 
  • Time: 3 PM – 7 PM 

If you wish to enroll your children for CHIP or Medicaid benefits, please bring the following information:

  • Household information – Who lives in the home, date of birth, social security numbers;
  • Children’s social security cards;
  • Children’s birth certificates;
  • Proof of income for the past 30 days or for the whole household;
  • Form of identification for the applicant; and
  • Proof of residence – utility bill, cell phone bill, or lease agreement
