Virtual Outreach Schedule for the Week of September 28th

Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at 1:00 PM
Our Crime Victim’s Unit will talk with HPD’s Victim Services Department about resources for survivors of domestic abuse. 

Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at 12:30 PM
Our Disaster Relief Unit will discuss the available rebuild and repair programs, requirements for each program, and clearing title to a property in order to qualify. 

Thursday, October 1, 2020, at 3:00 PM
Our Individual Safety Unit will talk with the Tahirih Justice Center, a non-profit that aims to protect immigrant women and girls fleeing gender-based violence and persecution, and Empowered Survivor, a non-profit that helps domestic violence survivors of color, on the second episode of The Safe Space. 

Friday, October 2, 2020, at 3:00 PM
Our Individual Safety and Crime Victim Units will talk to the Houston Area Women’s Center,  a domestic violence shelter, and Buckner International, an organization dedicated to the restoration and transformation of lives.  They’ll discuss their services and resources for survivors. This presentation will be in Spanish.
