End Violence Against Women International is collaboratively working with Netflix to promote a new limited series called Unbelievable, which will captivate its viewers by strategically enhancing the reach and impact of the message for survivors of sexual assault.
On September 13, 2019, the limited series based on true events will be released, showing the horrific truth of what can go wrong when professionals and loved ones disbelieve victims and pressure them to recant their story. After the victims have beaten themselves up enough about what they experienced, it is torture to relive the moments they try so hard to forget.
Sometimes during interrogation, the questions and demands seem endless. It is also sometimes hard to capture exactly what happened. Trauma can affect remembering details about the incident which make people question your truth. In this series, a young girl is in desperate need to be taken seriously, but instead, finds people turning against her in disbelief and doubt.
