New Celebrate Pro Bono Logo.jpgIn commemoration of National Pro Bono Week (October 21-27), Lone Star Legal Aid honors the following with the 2018 Conroe Branch Office Awards:  Patricia Chapman, Most Cases Handled Award; Jessica Lea Guobadia, Most Cases Handled Award; Lisa Espino, Most Litigated Cases Handled Award; William W. Morris, Most Contested Litigated Case Handled Award; Olimpia Sacaciu Law Firm, Law Firm Award; and Montgomery County Women’s Center, Community Partner Award.

Lone Star Legal Aid Pro Bono awards recognize attorneys, law firms and community partners who donate their time and legal expertise to ensure that all East Texas residents have equal access to the courts.

The honorees will be formally recognized on Friday, October 19, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. at an award ceremony and luncheon at the Montgomery County Dispute Resolution Center, 301 North Thompson Street, Suite 106, Conroe, Texas.

The week of October 21-27 has been designated as the “National Pro Bono Celebration” by the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service.  The goal is to showcase the remarkable difference that pro bono lawyers make to our nation, to our system of justice, to our communities and, most of all, to the clients they serve.  For more information, see www.celebrateprobono.org.
